City Projects
Parks: Tollie Maintenance Impacting Parking/Sidewalk - City Parks crews will complete some Tollie maintenance on Tuesday, May 14. They will be working in the morning. This maintenance work will require closing some of the sidewalk and parking areas on Railroad Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets.

Public Works: Road Painting - On Sunday, May 12, City Public Works crews will begin our yearly in-house road painting. Crews will paint crosswalks, stop bars, turn arrows, and parking stalls throughout town. This work usually takes about two weeks to complete. Crews primarily work at night to lessen the impact on drivers. Please use caution when driving through the work zones.

  • North 9th Street between West Franklin Street and the alley to the south
  • Intersection of West Franklin and North 7th Streets
  • Existing pedestrian crossing across Shelton Springs Road, just north of the south driveway for Shelton High School

The revision will be installed every morning at 7 a.m., and the contractor will remove the revision at the end of the day.
