Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee was established in 2009 by the Shelton City Commission.  This committee provides recommendations and guidance on future park planning and improvements, recreation programs, regulations, and rules of use for city park facilities. They serve as a liaison between community members and the City Council on parks and recreation-related matters. 

Board members serve a 3-year term and are appointed by the City Council.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee generally meets every second Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Civic Center.
