Paving construction, which began on November 4 in Shelton’s lower basin area, has been partially completed. Paving will be finished on Birch Street, 1st through 7th Streets, and 2nd and 3rd Street (between Birch and Alder) by the end of November 6.
Paving will be continuing for all roads north of Birch Street. Paving for these roads will continue through Monday, November 11. Paving is weather dependent.
Construction hours will continue to be from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday through Friday. No paving will be done on weekend days. There will also continue to be detour signs and flaggers along these routes to help traffic navigate safely.
There will be limited access for vehicles. Please park on or south of Birch Street. Any vehicles left in the roadways will be towed at the owner’s expense.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to finish this project as soon as possible.
