The Shelton Civic Center will reopen to members of the public on Tuesday, June 1. Hours of operation will be 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Vaccinated people are not required to wear face masks inside the Civic Center, with the exception of Municipal Court. Face masks will remain mandatory for all individuals entering Municipal Court. The Municipal Court is under the purview of the Washington State Supreme Court.
Additionally, City Council meetings will be held in person beginning Tuesday, June 1. We will not have a Zoom option available, but MasonWebTV will continue to livestream all City Council meetings and individuals will have the opportunity to participate remotely.
Members of the public wishing to attend the Council meetings in person will need to sit in the overflow area located in the main lobby of the Civic Center. There will be a livestream of the meeting available for members of the public to watch. Those wishing to provide public comment will need to sign in, and will be called into the meeting by the City Clerk during the appropriate comment period.
