UPDATE (10/15/2021): The Shelton Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on October 7 at 6:15 a.m. in the 500 block of North 4th Street. During the initial investigation at the scene, several regional law enforcement agencies assisted the SPD, and we would like to thank them for their response.

On October 14, members of SPD and the Mason County Sheriff’s Office developed information that led to the arrests of Christopher Floe and Carolyn Harris for conspiracy to commit assault in the first degree, conspiracy to commit a drive-by shooting, and other related charges. This investigation is still ongoing.

ORIGINAL (10/7/2021): The Shelton Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred this morning at 6:15 a.m. in the 500 block of North 4th Street.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information at this time. Our investigation is ongoing.
